講者簡介：
Yuping Chung is a high-tech business and management executive for 30+ years in semiconductor, solid state storages, medical devices, and enterprise software. Yuping is now a co-founder and SVP of Business Operations at Anitoa Systems, a molecular diagnostics medical device startup in Silicon Valley, California. Yuping is responsible for venture funding, new business development, strategic partnership, and sales management. Outside of Anitoa, he also serves as advisor to 4 startups in medical devices, smart home solutions, robotics, and flash memory devices.
Prior to Anitoa, Yuping served as the General Manager of Faraday Technology USA (智源), an ASIC design services company publicly traded in Taiwan. As a domain expert in flash storage device, ASIC controller, SerDes IPs, SSD, and DRAM/SRAM IC products, Yuping has led several product lines and business units to becoming market leaders. Such as delivering the industry first UFS (Universal Flash Storage) solution for Arasan Systems to tier one IC suppliers, and delivering the industry first single-chip SSD in BGA package for SST. Before joining SST, he held several senior marketing and sales management positions at Marconix Taiwan (旺宏), Etron USA(鈺創), Mitsubishi/Renesas, IDT.
As a volunteer, Yuping also serves on the Board of Advisor of CASPA, a Silicon Valley non-profit semiconductor professional organization established in 1991 with 11 local chapters in US, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He served a CASPA President in 2014, and initiated several programs to bring talents, technologies, and business opportunities together, and to increase the brand recognition of CASPA globally. Yuping holds MSEE from Oklahoma State Univ. and BS from National Taiwan University.
